Zeta-Jones Proud Of Daughter's Stage Debut
CATHERINE ZETA-JONES' daughter is to make her stage debut in a school production of ANNIE, taking on the same role that inspired the Oscar winner to pursue a career in acting 31 years ago. Six-year-old Carys, Zeta-Jones' youngest child with husband Michael Douglas, will follow in her famous parents' footsteps when she takes the lead in the school musical - and the Chicago star couldn't be more proud. She says, "My daughter is about to embark on her first school production, Annie." Zeta-Jones first appeared on stage at the age of nine, portraying the lovable orphan in a local production in her native Swansea, Wales. But Carys isn't the only one to continue in the Douglas family trade - her nine-year-old brother Dylan is also showing promise. Zeta-Jones adds, "They've both got their parents' genes." (MT/WNVTO/LR)
