A restraining order filed against AUSTIN POWERS star VERNE TROYER by his ex-girlfriend has been dropped, after a judge ruled the pint-sized star is not a threat.
Yvette Monet, who briefly dated the actor after meeting him at a Playboy Mansion party a year ago (Dec08), obtained a temporary order against Troyer last month (Nov09), alleging he had bombarded her with abusive phone calls and left her fearing for her life.
Troyer filed a legal response to Monet's allegations, insisting, "At no time did I ever threaten Ms. Monet or even hint to her that I would harm her in any way."
Monet's bid to make her order permanent has been rejected by a Los Angeles judge, reports TMZ.com. (IG/WNWCZM/KL)
