Revered U.S. newsman and broadcaster BRYANT GUMBEL has been diagnosed with lung cancer.
The beloved anchorman spoke out about his battle during an appearance on American TV morning show Live with Regis & Kelly on Tuesday (08Dec09), and revealed he has already undergone surgery to remove a malignant tumour in his chest and part of his lung.
He says, "I've felt better, to be honest, not as strong as I'd like to be... but I feel OK." (KL/WNV/IG)
