Hippie musical HAIR has been brushed off Broadway - the production will close at the end of the month (Jun10).
The recent revival of the 1960s-set show hit the New York stage in March 2009, but producers have now decided to end its run on 27 June (10).
The move comes just three months after the original cast of the Broadway show transferred to London in April (10) to join the West End production.
Hair will begin a tour of the U.S. once the Broadway curtain falls, with shows kicking off in Connecticut in October (10), according to Variety.com. (LR/WNWCRV/ZN)
