Originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Bobby has a degree from Penn State. He used to be a restaurant manager until his restaurant closed down. His low key demeanor masks his extremely competitive personality. He describes himself as lovable and generous but stubborn and vengeful.

Bobby is one of the contestants in the ABC reality show The Mole. The show follows 12 contestants as they try to figure out who among them is The Mole, a saboteur who will keep them away from the prize money. It is up to the players to decide who The Mole is. They need to learn as much as possible about him or her because failure to do so means elimination. In the end, The Mole is revealed but only one will go home with the grand prize.

Bobby considers it a lifelong dream to be in The Mole as he used to host Mole watching parties in his basement. As a hardcore fan of the game, he feels that his knowledge of how the game works is enough to bring him to the final three. His strategy is to form alliances with not-so-smart players so he can lead them. Being gay and equipped with gaydar, Bobby feels the same skill can be useful in reading other people in the game.
