Jamie Lynn Spears' pregnancy has already been established. Now, another controversy surrounding the 16-year-old Zoey 101 star has surfaced the news and appears as though it will continue all the way until the birth of the baby.

As reported previously, Star Magazine has hinted on the rumor that Casey Aldridge, whom Spears confessed as the father of her unborn child, is reportedly being paid off to be the fall guy. Immediately pop culture enthusiasts have pondered on the idea that an unnamed, older executive at Zoey 101 is the real father and that the real story is being concealed to save everyone involved a litany of legal trouble.  Now, In Touch Weekly reports that Spears has been dumped by Aldridge because he is not sure he's the father of her baby and wants to know if she cheated on him.

"He wants a paternity test," Spears' sister Britney told a family friend, according to In Touch Weekly. "Casey doesn't want to be with her until he's sure that he's the father."

On the other hand, this controversy completely contradicts reports that Spears and Aldridge are still together as a couple.

“It's completely false," a source close to the Nickelodeon star told Us Magazine.
“They are still together and he has not asked for a paternity test."

It also contradicts an article from the National Enquirer that says that Aldridge was the one who strayed from the Zoey 101 star and that Aldridge's brother confirmed the break up.

“I think Casey is a serial cheater who has lied to Jamie Lynn and betrayed her time and time again,” Spears' close friend revealed to the Enquirer.  “Even though I'm sure she knows in her heart that Casey's a lying, cheating dog, Jamie Lynn is head over heels in love with him.  She continues to take him back regardless of how awful he treats her.”

“This past spring Casey was forced to tell Jamie Lynn that he'd cheated on her and gotten that girl pregnant,” Spears' pal added.  “Jamie Lynn was devastated.  She swore Casey out of her life forever.”
