Nicole Niestemski is 24 years old and lives in Los Angeles, California. During her childhood days, her focus was mainly on sports and cheerleading but that all changed when she reached her adolescent years. It was in high school that she discovered her passion for dancing. Nicole then trained in jazz, modern, hip-hop, ballet, African, pointe, gymnastics and Filipino cultural dance. Her favorite dance style is contemporary.
Nicole Niestemski's many dancing achievements include appearing in several music videos for artists like Sean Kingston, Sean Paul, Raven Simone and Three 6 Mafia. She was also seen in the movie
Bring It On: In It to Win It. For two years, she was a member of NBA's Los Angeles Clippers Spirit Dance Team.
Her father, Michael Niestemski, is 48 years old and resides in Cerritos, California. He always supported Nicole in whatever she put her mind into. Michael Niestemski coached Nicole on the athletics field and attended every performance of hers. This “stage dad” even studied the art of dance so that he would be able to help critique her.
Nicole and Michael Niestemski are one of the ten competing pairs on the Lifetime TV reality series
Your Mama Don't Dance. Dubbed as the dance competition with a twist, contestants on the show auditioned without knowing that their dancing partners would be their very own parents. Five male contestants and five female contestants would foxtrot and mambo with their mothers and fathers as they compete to win the title and the $100,000 cash prize. To help his daughter win, Michael says he is willing to give more than 100 percent. He says that the experience was unique because he never knew there was so much to dancing. Nicole says that their biggest goal is just to have fun and she hopes the audience will also enjoy watching them.
