They say the way to a man's heart is through his stomach-- this rings true with ABC Family's upcoming series, Young & Hungry
, a light-hearted romantic comedy starring Emily Osment and Jonathan Sadowski.
Not all titles featured on BuddyTV are available through Amazon Prime.
The series, which is produced by former High School Musical star Ashley Tisdale, centers on Osment's Gabi, a food blogger who is in a lot of debt and is desperate for a job, and Sadowski's Josh, a tech millionaire who hires Gabi in attempt to prepare a romantic meal to sweep his girlfriend of her feet.
Though far from being a sophisticated chef, spunky and ambitious Gabi has an undeniable knack for cooking and a gift to make people feel better through her food. She just has to prove herself to Josh's aide, who prefers a more reputable and professional chef for the position. Luckily support comes in the form of her best friend Sofia and even Josh's housekeeper.
Things don't go as expected for Josh and his girlfriend, but fortunately for Gabi, that means a job as Josh's personal chef and a chance at love.
Osment is best known for her role as Lilly Truscott on Disney's Hannah Montana while Sadowski starred in the CBS comedy $#*! My Dad Says. Young and Hungry also features Rex Lee (Entourage), Aimee Carrero (Blue Lagoon: The Awakening), and Kym Whitley (Animal Practice).
Young & Hungry premieres Wednesday, June 25 at 8pm on ABC Family.
