Yo Momma is a reality game show starring and created by Wilmer Valderrama. Based on the “the dozens,” an African American oral tradition in which two individuals engage in a dispute, trading insults to one another until one is unable to throw a comeback.

Each episode of the program Yo Momma features unscripted comedy competition of trash-talkers in a battle for $1,000 cash. In addition, the contestants have a chance to advance to the final tournament to win another $1,000 and other prizes. Joining Valderrama are Sam Sarpong, Jason Everhart, and DJ Big Boy.

Yo Momma is produced by Lois Curren, Lauren Dolgen, Kathleen French, Douglas Ross and Dean Minerd. It airs weekdays at 6:00 PM on MTV.
