Tonight, CBS is bringing the British sitcom The Worst Week of My Life to American audiences with the network's own adaptation called Worst Week.  The show revolves around a soon-to-be-married couple who is about to start their life together.  Of course, relationship is not at all easy as they must conquer one hurdle left.

Read on to find out what's in store for the premiere episode of Worst Week.

In the pilot episode of Worst Week, Sam Briggs, an entertainment magazine editor, and his girlfriend, Melanie, visit her conservative parents.  During the family holiday, Sam decides to break the news that they have a wedding in the works and a baby on the way.  Sam desperately tries to impress his fiancée's parents but his attempts inevitably end in disaster.  But with incessant support from Melanie, who stands up for him regardless of his knack for humiliating himself, Sam will hopefully charm his way into her family.

Worst Week stars Kyle Bornheimer as Sam Briggs.  Bornheimer is a newcomer whose short film and TV career spans less than five years.  His other credits include Spokane, Devils are Dreaming, An Alright Start, Blades of Glory, She's Out of My League and For Christ's Sake.  Playing Bornheimer's on-screen fiancée is Erinn Hayes, who is best known for her role as Alison McKeller onthe 2007 FOX television series The Winner.

Additionally, Worst Week also features Kurtwood Smith and Nancy Lenehan as Melanie's conservative parents.  Smith, who appears as Judge Dick Clayton, is credited for his roles on The New Adventures of Beans Baxter and That ‘70s Show, while Lenehan, who appears as Dick's wife Angela Clayton, has appeared on My Name Is Earl and Married to the Kellys.
