Jennifer Stone was born on February 12, 1993 in Arlington, Texas. When she was six years old, she started out performing onstage after seeing her brother in theatre productions, and wanting to emulate him. Stone thus began her own career in acting, and starred in several theatre productions herself. When she reached the age of eight, she signed up with an agency and began going to auditions for commercials. Among the television series that she has had roles in are Without a Trace, House M.D., and Line of Fire. She also appeared in the feature film Secondhand Lions with Michael Caine and Robert Duvall.

Harper Evans is portrayed by Jennifer Stone in the Disney Channel Original television series Wizards of Waverly Place. She is the best friend forever of Alex, and also wants to be Justin’s girlfriend, having a strong crush on the eldest Russo brother. Harper likes to craft her own clothing, even if she’s the only one who thinks they look nice. She is a firm believer in the non-conformist philosophy of standing out as an individual, rather than blending with the crowd. She is aware that the Russo family is capable of performing magic, yet keeps this a secret.
