Poppy Montgomery was born on June 19, 1972 in Sydney, New South Wales. Previously, she was recognized for her portrayal of Marilyn Monroe in the mini-series Blonde. Presently, she is part of the series Without a Trace as Agent Samantha Spade where she was labeled "TV's Hottest Cop" by Stuff magazine.

Samantha Spade was a former New York City officer and is presently a FBI agent. She is popularly known for having affairs with her boss, Jack Malone and fellow agent Martin Fitzgerald.
