Premise: The CBS crime show follows a group of special agents who work for the FBI missing persons unit.

This fall, Without A Trace will begin its 7th season on CBS.  Last season featured a crossover between the show and CSI, when Jack and Gil Grissom teamed up with the FBI missing persons unit to help find a boy who had disappeared years ago at the hands of a serial killer.  In season 6,  Samantha became pregnant and gave birth to her first child, who she'll have to raise alone.  Jack struggled with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and was nearly killed while working a case because of his reckless and dangerous behavior.  He is now been demoted and is in mandatory therapy, a storyline that will continue into season 7.

Without A Trace is not your typical crime show.  At the end of each episode, the show displays information about real missing persons in the hopes that viewers will come forward with information that will help bring them home.  The show has been successful in solving many cases as well as in bringing peace to the family and friends of victims.  If you have yet to check out Without A Trace, you now have two incentives to watch: a solid cast on a show that has a proven track record, as well as a show that takes its social responsibility seriously and relies on its viewers to help.
