Will and Grace is coming back to NBC this Fall, and the network has plans to keep it around for a long time. Before the revival has even aired, NBC has renewed the show for a second season (or maybe it's technically season 10).

The Will and Grace revival was also given an extended first season. There will now be 16 episodes instead of just 12. The return premieres Thursday, September 28 at 9/8c on NBC.

The revival's second season was picked up for an additional 13 episodes. Combined with the show's original run of 194 episodes, these two new seasons will bring the show to a total of 223 episodes.

Picking the show up for a second season before it even returns is definitely a big sign of confidence from NBC. They are clearly hoping that the show can reboot the Must See TV Thursday night comedy line-up, which used to dominate the television landscape.
