Christopher Andrew Pontius was born in Pasadena, California on July 16, 1974. The daredevil performer grew up in a ranch in San Obispo, and he worked for the skateboarding magazine Big Brother before he turned 18. He worked on odd jobs after his stint with the magazine, but returned months later. Together with Jeff Tremaine, editor of Big Brother, and contributor Johnny Knoxville, Pontius joined the production of the hit show Jackass in 2000. Pontius is known to punctuate the antics of the show with his ever-present giggling and hysterical laughter. Chris Pontius is one of the cast members of the hit MTV2 series Wildboyz.
