A native of Chicago, David Smith studied film at Columbia College, and he also studied drama at New York University under the tutelage of acting coach Sondra Lee. Smith became a model for four years before getting cast in a small screen role. He is currently living in Los Angeles, and he enjoys sports and spending time with his motorcycles.
