It's a good day for a trio of popular USA shows as
White Collar,
Covert Affairs and
Royal Pains have all been renewed.
White Collar, which recently completed the first half of season 4, was renewed for another 16 episodes for season 5.
Covert Affairs will continue its current third season on Tuesday, October 16 and was renewed for a 16-episode season 4.
Royal Pains got the biggest order with two additional seasons. Seasons 5 and 6 will each consist of 13 episodes. The show's fourth season recently ended, with a two-hour Christmas wedding movie to air this December.
The renewals help keep some of USA's biggest shows on the air, but just as important may be the shows not mentioned. Things are not looking particularly good for shows like
Necessary Roughness,
Common Law and
Fairly Legal, so these renewals of the more established shows may be important to keep original programming afloat while the network develops new shows like the upcoming
Graceland from the creator of White Collar.
