Buddy Bites: Matt Bomer Comes Out, NBC orders 'Hannibal' the Series

White Collar star Matt Bomer has confirmed he's gay during his acceptance speech at the recent Steve Chase Humanitarian Awards in Palm Springs, Eonline.com reports. The actor thanked his longtime partner, Hollywood publicist Simon Halls, and their three children.  "Thank you for teaching me what unconditional love is. You will always be my proudest accomplishment. God bless you," he said. Bomer's sexuality has been a controversial topic in the past though he never denied or confirmed anything until now. NBC to air Hannibal the series: Bypassing  the pilot stage, NBC has picked up 13 episodes of the thriller series Hannibal, which which is based on the novel by Thomas Harris-- featuring Dr. Hannibal Lector and FBI agent Will Graham.  No other details have been reported but, according to Deadline.com, the series will mostly center on the budding relationship of the two main characters.
