The main concept of the show What Not To Wear is having family members and friends nominate a candidate they consider poorly dressed and requesting the show to make over the “fashion victim.” Starring in the series are Stacy London and Clinton Kelly, also considered as the show’s fashion cops. With a $ 5,000.00, they ambush the candidate, give them grooming tips, shop at boutiques in New York City and throw out the candidate’s existing wardrobe.

What Not To Wear is produced by Michael Klein. It airs Fridays at 9:00 PM on TLC.
