Nick Zano was known for portraying the character Vince on What I Like About You. He started out as Holly’s older friend who eventually became her love interest. Gradually, Holly developed feelings for Vince even while she was dating Henry. When Holly was finally ready to jump into a relationship with Vince, Vince broke Holly’s heart by sleeping with another girl. Consequently, he tried to win back Holly but failed in many occasions. In the end, however, Vince and Holly became a couple during Val’s wedding at the series finale.

When What I Like About You ended, Zano guest starred on several episodes of the family drama series 7th Heaven as the character Dr. Jonathan Sanderson. During his time on the show, he was Sandy’s love interest in season 11.

Zano has completed filming the romantic comedy My Sexiest Year, in which he stars as the character Pierce. Directed by Howard Himelstein, the cast also includes Frankie Muniz as Jake, Harvey Keitel as Zowie, Amber Valletta as Marina, Karolina Kurkova as Pia, Ryan Cabrera as Rickie, Haylie Duff as Debbie, and Rachel Specter as Sue Ryker. In addition, he also stars in the movie College, a comedy that will be release on September 14, 2007. The said film follows the story of three high school seniors who visit a local college campus as prospective freshmen during a wild weekend. He stars as Teague and is joined by other actors, including Drake Bell as Kevin, Andrew Caldwell as Carter, Kevin Covais as Morris, Gary Owen as Bearcat, Haley Bennett as Kendall, Camille Mana as Heather, Nathalie Walker as Amy, and Ryan Pinkston as Fletcher.
