Initially, he was perceived as a geek but gradually evolved into a hip and sleek character. Throughout the series, he had mixed feelings about Tina, often hating her while being attracted to her at the same time. In the end, the two became a couple when they kissed during the series finale.

Directed by Mort Nathan, the film also features Dennis Farina as Marty Engstrom, Paul Campbell as Phil Piedmonstein, Marika Dominczyk as Bambi Strasinsky, and Robert Hoffman as Clyde 'Windmill' Wynorski among others.
