Desperate Housewives, he's become an established and sought-after performer. As Mike Delfino on
Desperate Housewives, Denton has made a name for himself and has become an object of affection for countless female viewers.
Born in 1963, in Nashville, Tennessee, James Denton got his start in the theater. After a stint in the world of Chicago theater, Denton headed west to Los Angeles and began stringing together small parts in TV shows like "The Untouchables" (the series), "JAG", "Sliders", and "Moloney". In 1996, Denton received his biggest break, landing a regular role on "The Pretender".
Now, as a regular on
Desperate Housewives, one of the most popular shows in the country, Denton has never had this much acclaim. Denton has a number of film projects now in the works, including "3/5 of a Man" and "Wanted: Undead or Alive".
