Born in Milton, Florida on December 18, 1968, Casper Van Dien is mainly of Dutch ancestry, with mixes of Swedish, French and Native American blood in his veins. He first graduated from the Admiral Farragut Military Academy, and then went to Florida State University to study medicine and get into theater as a hobby. His love for acting overshadowed his medical school ambitions, so he moved to Los Angeles, where he was cast in numerous TV shows and movies such as Tim Burton's Sleepy Hollow.
