'Juno' Soundtrack Wins Grammy Honors
The soundtrack to the surprise hit flick Juno has taken home honors at this year’s Grammy Awards.  In pre-telecast ceremonies held at Los Angeles, the film’s soundtrack—which featured contributions from Kimya Dawson, Scottish band Belle and Sebastian and the film’s stars, Ellen Page and Michael Cera—won the award for Best Compilation Soundtrack, beating out those for Sweeney Todd, Mamma Mia!, American Gangster and August Rush.

The musical score for The Dark Knight won Best Score, giving composers James Newton Howard and Hans Zimmer a boost after they almost didn’t get the nomination for the same category at the Oscars.  WALL-E took home two awards for their music: the theme song “Down to Earth,” sung by Peter Gabriel, won as Best Motion Picture Song, while “Define Dancing”—the music to the scene when WALL-E and Eve start dancing with a fire extinguisher in space—won Best Instrumental Arrangement.
