American actress Ellen Davis Woglom was born in Nashville, Tennessee and was able to frequently travel to places such as Vermont, Colorado, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and California because of her father's business. She grew up on a farm thus horseback riding was a normal routine for her. She even rode horses competitively until an injury forced her to pursue other interests such as acting. Woglom wanted to educate herself, but the concept of working enticed her to try it first. She went back to school at a later date to pursue her education.

Cheyenne Holden is played by Ellen Woglom in the television series Viva Laughlin. Cheyenne is the daughter of ambitious businessman Ripley Holden who wants to put up his own casino. After becoming financially unstable, he asks help from his rival, Nick Fontana. Ripley is technically torn between his business deals and his duty as a father to his children.
