Carter Mark Jenkins was born on September 4, 1991 in Tampa, Florida, where he began acting in the Community Theatre at the age of seven. It was in one of his performances that he was approached by an agent who booked him for local and national commercials. By July of 2002, Jenkins together with his mother set out for Los Angeles for training in acting. He later was discovered by a top agent who got him auditions, callbacks and bookings. Viva Laughlin . Aside from acting, Jenkins is into baseball, basketball and football.
Jack Holden is played by Carter Jenkins in the television show Viva Laughlin. Jack is the son of Ripley and Natalie Holden and the brother of Cheyenne. His father is an ambitious businessman who aims to put up his own casino. However, after experiencing a financial downfall, he approaches his rival, Nicky Fontana. Because of his business ventures, Ripley is torn between his ambition and his family duties as husband and father.
