From Miami, Florida comes 25-year-old Gisel Saumat. She earns a living as a hostess. A girl of beauty and strength, Gisel has participated in various marathons. Aside from becoming an actress, she also wants to write and produce big screen projects. Gisel is of Cuban heritage.

Gisel Saumat is one of the 12 contestants on VH1’s reality TV talent search Viva Hollywood, a competition that brings together aspiring Latino actors and pits them against each other in challenges that will help them prove that they are “America’s Numero Uno Telenovela Star.” The aspirants are flown in to Los Angles and they live together in one house. The winner gets a Hollywood prize package which includes a contract with Telemundo, U.S.’ biggest telenovela production company.
