Twenty-four-year-old Geovannie Gomez used to be a law student until he discovered his passion and love for acting. He comes form Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Geovannie is equipped with skills and knowledge of martial arts, a sports he has been training in since he was just a kid. He is fluent in English, Spanish and French.
Geovannie Gomez attended NOVA Southern University, the Acting School of South Florida and The Actors WorkShop. He also trained under the tutelage of Kim St. Leon for Cold Reading and Dustin M. Sharpe for Improv. Geovannie was part of David Matthew Barnes’ Sloe Gin Fizz, a stage production directed by Steven Chambers. In 2007, Geovannie was seen as Rodriguez in Lost Everything.
Geovannie Gomez is one of the 12 contestants on VH1’s reality TV talent search Viva Hollywood, a competition that brings together aspiring Latino actors and pits them against each other in challenges that will help them prove that they are “America’s Numero Uno Telenovela Star.” The aspirants are flown in to Los Angles and they live together in one house. The winner gets a Hollywood prize package which includes a contract with Telemundo, the U.S.’ biggest telenovela production company.
Gomez describes himself as disciplined yet spontaneous because he still manages to do things he enjoys. He hates regretting things and knows the importance of taking risks. He considers acting as a huge opportunity for him to open himself up and find out he who he really is. And regardless of what endeavor he might pursue in the future, he's guaranteed to give it his best.
