Thirty-two-year-old Alexcy Aranguren comes from Orange County, California. He is of Ecuadorian descent. He is a real-estate broker who has recently discovered his passion for acting and is now trying to enter into show business. This is his first time auditioning for a role.

Alexcy Aranguren is one of the 12 contestants on VH1’s reality TV talent search Viva Hollywood, a competition that brings together aspiring Latino actors and pits them against each other in challenges that will help them prove that they are “America’s Numero Uno Telenovela Star.” The aspirants are flown in to Los Angles and they live together in one house. The winner gets a Hollywood prize package which includes a contract with Telemundo, U.S.’ biggest telenovela production company.
