As one of the last shows to get a full season at CW, prospects for a fourth season of Veronica Mars may seem a long shot if the sleuth doesn't show significant gains in what remains of her third season. As if to vacate fans hopes entirely, the usually upbeat creator of Veronica Mars, Rob Thomas, had this to say recently:

"There have been times in the past when the fans were very concerned, when I was pretty confident, I have to admit that in this case, I'm losing some faith."

Not exactly the best way to rally the troops there, Rob.
