As we reported early, most of Veronica Mars’ cast members have already acquired TV and movie projects since the show stopped airing, including Kristen Bell, Chris Lowell, and Enrico Colantoni. Additionally, actress Tina Majorino has a new movie entitled What We Do Is Secret.

Majorino, famed for her role as Cindy "Mac" Mackenzie on Veronica Mars, has worked in numerous movies such as When a Man Loves a Woman, Waterworld, Napoleon Dynamite, and Think Tank. In her approaching film, the 22-year old actress is slated to play the role of Michelle.

What We Do Is Secret, a film based on the life of punk singer Darby Crash and his band, The Germs, chronicles the events of how The Germs was established in 1975 and ends with Darby’s death in 1980. With the intent to give light to the dawn of punk rock in Hollywood and the rise of hardcore, the film includes nine Germs songs performed by the actors themselves who was taught to play their instruments under the supervision of Pat Smear, original Germs guitarist.

Leading the cast of What We Do Is Secret is actor Shane West who stars as Darby Crash. West, famed for his roles on ER and in the film A Walk to Remember, will serve as the frontman of The Germs. Also included in the movie are Bijou Philips as Lorna Doom, Rick Gonzalez as Pat Smear, Noah Segan as Don Bolles, Ashton Holmes as Rob Henley, Lauren German as Belinda, Keir O’Donnell as Chris Ashford, Sebastian Roche as Claude Kickboy Bessy, Azura Skye as Casey Cola, and Katherine Leonars as Jena just to name a few.

What We Do Is Secret, which is directed Rodger Grossman and co-written by Michelle Baer Ghaffari, will have its world premiere at the Los Angeles Film Festival and will hit the theaters in July.
