Kristen Bell was born on July 18, 1980 in Detroit, Michigan. This Polish-American actress attended Shrine Catholic High School where she starred in the school's production of Wizard of Oz as Dorothy Gale. Despite being petite, she made an immense impact in the entertainment industry. She made her debut in the film Pootie Tang. This was immediately followed by several appearances in television series and in Broadway productions. This included Smallville, The Crucible, The King of Queens of Moonlight Bay and Gracie's Choice.
