The nominations for the 2013 Critics' Choice TV Awards were announced Wednesday morning, spanning a wide array of not only network and cable, but from Netflix as well with the popularity of House of Cards on the streaming/rental service.

Not all titles featured on BuddyTV are available through Amazon Prime.

Among the networks, HBO leads the pack with 21 nominations, followed by FX at 19, CBS and ABC at 11 and 10, respectively, and FOX and NBC tied for 9 nominations. When looking specifically at the shows, American Horror Story and The Big Bang Theory top the list at six each.

The Broadcast Television Journalists Association, which hands out the Critics Choice awards, also gave nods to Parks and Recreation, Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, The Good Wife, Political Animals and Girls, all with multiple nominations.

But there were a couple big surprise omissions from the list: both Modern Family and Mad Men, which usually are a favorite among critics, were snubbed from Best Comedy and Best Drama, having only received one nomination each in the acting categories.

Aside from scriped shows, the Critics' Choice also honors reality TV and talk shows. On the reality side, both The Voice and American Idol were nominated, the former for Best Reality Competition Series and the latter for Best Reality Host, which means the two singing shows will not be going head to head.

The Critics' Choice Television Awards will be held on June 10, hosted by Parks and Recreation's Retta.
