We haven't been hearing much from High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens these days, which probably means she's busy working on more projects. It's either that or she doesn't have any more movies to offer, but we're thinking it's the former.
Anyway, the 21-year-old actress made an appearance to promote her upcoming movie Beastly. It isn't your regular promotional though, since she talked to her fans through an online video on Facebook.
Hudgens was thrilled to know that the fan page for the film has reached 5,000 hits, so she made a special message in honor of those who have supported
Beastly. She even raised the stakes, challenging everyone to make it to 15,000.
While it sounds almost impossible to do, the movie die-hards are busy trying their best. It's all in exchange for a special surprise that Vanessa Hudgens has in store for them. We're not exactly sure what it is yet, but she'll reveal it in due time.

Beastly stars Vanessa Hudgens as the romantic interest of the title character Kyle Kingson, played by Alex Pettyfer. As we know, it's a modern retelling of the classic Beauty and the Beast. It also has Mary-Kate Olsen on board, as the witch who turns Kyle into a grotesque creature everyone despises.
As the story goes, only true love will break the spell. That's where the
High School Musical actress comes in.
There's still time to make
Beastly's Facebook page reach 15,000 fans. The movie won't be showing until July 31 later this year. The surprise, meanwhile, is another matter. We'll let Vanessa Hudgens handle that.
