The CW has four new shows for the 2017-2018 TV season, covering everything from the military to cancer to superheroes. Two of the shows, Valor and the remake of Dynasty, will premiere in the Fall while the others are being held until mid-season.

The CW'S Fall 2017 Schedule>>>

Dynasty, a remake of the '80s prime-time soap, follows the family and corporate drama of a super rich family. The trailer includes lots of sex and a catfight with hair-pulling and slaps. The show will air Wednesdays at 9pm after Riverdale and comes from the creators of Gossip Girl.

If NBC's The Brave and CBS' SEAL Team aren't enough, the CW offers the Fall's third new military drama, Valor. This show centers on a pair of elite helicopter pilots who were involved in a dangerous mission and slowly begin to uncover the conspiracy surrounding what happened. It looks a bit like the CW's attempt at making Homeland, which is an ambitious direction that's different from what the network typically does. The show will air Mondays at 9pm after Supergirl.

At mid-season, the newest superhero, Black Lightning, comes to the CW. Hart of Dixie's Cress Williams stars as a former hero who retired to try and live a normal life with his family. But with the evil 100 gang causing trouble, Black Lightning comes back to kick some butt.

Also at mid-season is Life Sentence, a perfect fit for Jane the Virgin and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. Pretty Little Liars' Lucy Hale stars as a young woman who spent the last eight years battling terminal cancer, but now she's cured. And not dying turns out to be harder than she thought as her family's man secrets finally come out.
