CBS has only aired four episodes of Undercover Boss so far but the ratings are more than enough reason for the network to renew the reality series for its sophomore season. The show, which follows chief executives as they disguise themselves as rank and file employees in their own companies, is currently the number one series of the 2009-2010 season, with an average of 18.74 million viewers.

"We are thrilled with the overwhelming response to the series and how audiences seem to connect to it on several levels," Jennifer Bresnan, senior vice president, CBS Alternative Programming, said in a statement. "The wish fulfillment of seeing the top boss perform jobs of the rank and file is universal, and the employees' stories discovered at each company are often relatable and inspirational."

Undercover Brother kicked off February 7 with an episode that featured Larry, O'Donnell, president of Houston, Texas-based Waste Management, Inc. and attracted 38.6 million viewers, making it the biggest post-Super Bowl show since Survivor: The Australian Outback premiered to 45 million viewers in 2001. Since then, the show has managed to maintain promising numbers with episodes featuring bosses from Hooters, 7-11 and White Castle.
