While Betty (
America Ferrera) is busy being her charmingly ugly self, Amanda (
Becki Newton) is all ready to turn bad. That is, worse than she already is. Tonight's episode of
Ugly Betty will bring two unlikely forces together, as Betty is forced to work with Amanda on an assignment for Mode.
On “Bad Amanda,” Betty has no other choice but to ask scam-artist Amanda for help when both of them suffer a small clash with cash. Teaming up, they're required to work on the Mode website article titled “How I Blew Ten Grand Without Spending a Dime.” As they collaborate, they're in for a New York City night they're bound to remember.

On the previous episode of
Ugly Betty, challenges were met when Betty tried out for the Young Editors Training Initiative or YETI. Unfortunately for her, Marc (
Michael Urie) is also hoping to get in and there's only one spot available in the internship. In an admirable twist of the story, Daniel (
Eric Mabius) ends up saving the day. Also on the “When Betty Met YETI” episode, Justin (
Mark Indelicato) forms a friendship with the bully Randy (Max Ehrich). Wilhelmina (
Vanessa Williams) kept trying to get Connor's (Grant Bowler) attention, but her efforts remained futile.
Meanwhile,
Ugly Betty offers fans singing actor Aaron Lazar as its guest star on tonight's episode. Lazar became known for his performance in the short-lived Broadway musical
A Tale of Two Cities. On the ABC series though, he's been cast as the character Claudio. Joining him as guests are Grant Bowler, Sarah Lafleur, Toks Olagundoye, Mercer Boffey, Matt Wilkas and Nicole Roderick. Regular cast members return as well, including
Tony Plana,
Ana Ortiz and
Judith Light.
Rebecca Romjin will also be taking up her post as recurring guest star.
Ugly Betty's new episode, “Bad Amanda,” will air tonight at 8pm on ABC.
