'Ugly Betty' Returns for Season 3 This Month
When we last saw Betty Suarez (America Ferrera), she was caught up in a whirlwind with her career on a roll and her love life going on overdrive.  She was torn between Henry Grubstick (Christopher Gorham), who asked her to marry him and Gio Rossi (Freddy Rodrguez), who asked her to come to Rome with him.  Finally, after months of waiting, fans will get to see Betty’s decision, as she makes her move on September 25, at 8pm on ABC.

After two successful seasons of Ugly Betty, fans can’t wait to see what the creator and producers have up their sleeve.  While some see the second season as an underwhelming one, one actor thinks that the show will have more spunk than ever this season, and it will prove to be an enduring show.  Michael Urie, who plays Marc St. James, recently told the Press Association, “Betty will be around for a long long time - I think we could go for a while.”

Additionally, he was optimistic in saying that we will eventually get to see the caterpillar turn into a butterfly, as Betty will have a makeover in due time. He jokingly added that while a sudden change in appearance might be a hasty move for the show, he says that it would be nice to see Betty in a new light.

“I mean eventually she's going to have to get the braces off, and probably get the laser eye surgery done - but I think it could go on for while,” Urie said. “It might 'jump the shark' for Betty to have her glasses off! I think Betty should get her braces off and then get smacked in the face and have to have them put right back on again.”

Whether or not Ugly Betty would stay in the coming years is yet to be seen, but one thing is for sure—we will finally get to see her this month as the show returns for its third season. Check out the promotional videos below to get a glimpse of what’s to come on September 25.
