It has been more than a month since a new episode of Ugly Betty has aired.  Yes, way back in December 4, when Amanda (Becki Newton) and Betty (America Ferrera) were forced to work together for an article about having fun in New York on zero dollars aptly called "How I Blew Ten Grand Without Spending a Dime."  Despite Betty's initial hesitance to do the article, their partnership was surprisingly OK, save for the conmen they met at a gallery.

Meanwhile, we previously reported on the possibility of a new love interest for Betty in the person of Matt (recurring guest star Daniel Eric Gold), whom Betty meets at YETI.  Described as “cute in an unconventional way, smart and career conscious, and friendly yet socially awkward,” it was also pointed out how the character bears striking resemblance with Henry (Christopher Gorham).

Tonight's episode of Ugly Betty is called “Dressed for Success.”  On it, Betty juggles works and family albeit not so successfully, as she tries and tries to impress her idol, Jodie Papadakis, the editor running YETI.  Meanwhile, things further complicate and heat up as she runs into Teri (Nikki Blonsky), an assistant at Elle Magazine, adding further fuel to the Mode / Elle rivalry.

Blonsky, 20, is best known for her critically acclaimed role as Tracy Turnblad in the 2007 musical comedy Hairspray.  She was Best Young Actress in the 13th Annual Critics' Choice Awards, while the rest of the cast, along with Queen Latifah, Amanda Bynes, James Marsden, John Travolta, Zac Efron, and Brittany Snow, won best acting ensemble.

Meanwhile, in other news, Rebecca Romijn, who plays Alexis Meade on Ugly Betty, recently gave birth to twins, Dolly Rebecca Rose and Charlie Tamara Tulip on December 28th.
