Eric Mabius was born on April 22, 1971 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. He began his career by appearing in the movie Welcome to the Dollhouse. This was followed by numerous projects like I Shot Andy Warhol, The L Word, The O.C., Chicago Hope, Popular, Splendor, Cruel Intentions and Resident Evil to name a few. Presently, he stars as Daniel Meade in the series Ugly Betty.

Daniel Meade is Betty's hunky boss. He is the editor-in-chief of MODE. For Betty, he is smarter than most people give him credit for. He graduated Harvard in 5 years and spent his inheritance instantly. Women seem to adore him.
