Eric Mabius has come a long way from being an underground favorite to a much awaited actor in the limelight. Born April 21, 1971 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Eric Mabius studied at Amherst Regional High School in Massachusetts and attended Sarah Lawrence College in New York where he studied film. As an actor, his first movie was Welcome to the Dollhouse. This was followed by more significant roles in I Shot Andy Warhol, The Crow: Salvation and Resident Evil to name a few. In television, he had recurring roles on The O.C. , Popular, Chicago Hope and was a regular cast member of the series The L Word. Playing Daniel Meade, Editor-In-Chief at MODE in the popular series Ugly Betty has cemented his mark on the television world. Eric's hunky good looks and striking performance gives depth and life in his character. In turn, the show has exposed much positive attention for his career.
