Last week on
Ugly Betty, we saw Lindsay Lohan’s continuing stint on the ABC series, where she plays Kimmie Keegan, an obnoxious, ambitious young woman from Betty’s past. On last week’s episode, Kimmie showed up and asked Betty to help her find a job, but Betty had other things in mind. Meanwhile, Justin stepped up and auditioned for a Broadway musical, while Daniel signed up for a matchmaking service.
While Lindsay Lohan’s stint on
Ugly Betty seemed to be a success, a rumor recently sparked regarding her shortened stay on the show. Rumor has it that there was a huge conflict between Lohan and
Ugly Betty star
America Ferrera. Recently, Lindsay’s mother, Dina came out to clear out these issues.
"Don't believe that article," Dina said of the Page Six piece that spoke of the falling out between Lindsay and America. "[Lindsay] really had a lot fun on
Ugly Betty. It's long hours, and when you're on a movie set, it's a bit different. She's not used to television."
As for the little conflict between her daughter and America, she says, "America's a doll. It's just silly."
She further explained that neither her daughter or their family did not trash any room, saying, "There was not a posse. It was my mother, myself and Ali. And no one trashed the rooms...My mother's Italian, we cleaned up!"
Meanwhile, could it be that production has found another star to appear as guest on the ABC dramedy? The Daily Star reports that production has contacted Peaches Geldof for a possible guest stint on the show, as they were impressed by her presenting on Nylon TV.
"Peaches has a precocious wit. It's important to get guests on the show who are in on the joke and the Brits seem to do this the best," says the source.
As for series star Vanessa Williams, she’s happy with the new Australian actor who guest stars as her character Wilhelmina’s love interest. Grant Bowler, who is best known for his appearance on
Lost, plays financial officer Conner Owens on
Ugly Betty.
"Of course there's always schemes with Wilhelmina. But, most of it doesn't have to do with finance," Vanessa reveals. "He's pretty hot and it's been a while for Wilhelmina, so she's going for the gusto."
Tonight on
Ugly Betty, fans will get to see Ignacio as he looks forward to voting for the first time, while election buzz brings in an interesting customer for Hilda. Meanwhile, Wilhelmina finds another way to spark trouble for Daniel, while supermodel Adriana Lima does a cameo as a Mode cover girl.
Ugly Betty airs at 8pm on ABC.
