The Ultimate Fighter 6: Episode 3 Recap
The Ultimate Fighter 6's most annoying early story line is now over.  We can now get on with the season and what viewers really care about: the fights. Tonight's episode began with a little recap of last week's action.  Matthew Arroyo took an early knee from Dorian Price, withstood it and then took Dorian to the ground and simply pummeled him.  Also, it looks like Joe Scarola has promised Matt Serra that he'll stop whining and stay in the house for the rest of the season.  Will he stay true to his word?

Let's get this over with: Joe Scarola leaves the house and goes home.  Matt Serra begged and pleaded for him to stay.  Dana White did the same.  Matt Serra let him know that Joe will no longer be allowed to coach at any of Serra's gyms if he leaves.  Despite all this, Joe Scarola wussed out and went home.  That dude is weak.  It's six weeks!  Six weeks is nothing.  It's a blink.  Yet, he couldn't take it and left despite serious repercussions.  Unbelievable.  But, at least he's gone now and we can move on.

It's Team Hughes turn to pick the fight.  Hughes chooses his own Billy Miles to take on Team Serra's John Kolosci.  Miles is a big country boy, who has to cut a bunch of weight before he enters the octagon.  He claims to be the best wrestler on the show.  Kolosci is a unique dude.  He's 32 years old, and he actually has a day job, working IT in a cubicle.  He also takes a sick pleasure in fighting, likes to punch people and get punched.  And, he's the happiest, most likable guy on the show.

In the middle of the episode, both teams, with their coaches, gather together to watch UFC 72 on PPV in the mansion.  After the fights, and after the coaches leave, everyone gets drunk.  There are extensive shenanigans that go down.

Dana White thinks that Billy Miles is the big favorite in the fight, and that seems to be the consensus.  The fight begins and, after some circling, John surprisingly bull rushes Miles and takes him to the ground.  He lands a few punches before Miles gets out of it and gets on top.  But, soon after, Miles exposes his neck, Kolosci takes it and puts Miles in a guillotine.  Miles taps out.  John Kolosci wins in an upset.
