Dorian Price appears as one of the competing fighters in the Spike TV network’s mixed martial arts contest reality series The Ultimate Fighter: Team Hughes vs. Team Serra. He is 29 years old, and has an MMA record of 8-2. Price is a native of Baltimore, MD, though he has undergone most of his extensive training in Cincinnati, OH. Much of his time energy as he grew up was spent trying to get by on the violently dangerous streets that surrounded his home and neighborhood. With a desire to climb higher and improve his lot in life, he studied at the Avon O’ Farms school located in Connecticut.

There, he performed well as both a scholar and a star athlete. After completing his secondary education in 1995, he went on to pursue higher learning at Hampton University, where at the same time he began practicing the art of Muay Thai kickboxing. The Thai combat style was Price’s first foray into the world of mixed martial arts. Upon graduating from Hampton, he then relocated to Columbus and continued attending graduate school at Ohio State University, eventually earning an MBA in 2005. While pursuing his graduate studies, he also included Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in his repertoire of MMA fighting skills.
