Two and a Half Men: Preview of Finale "Baseball was Better with Steroids"

Tonight on the season finale of Two and Half Men - "Baseball was Better with Steroids" - Mia's (Emmanuelle Vaugier) return finds Charlie (Charlie Sheen) questioning his devotion to Chelsea (Jennifer Bini Taylor).  The guys rush a laboring Judith (Marin Hinkle) to the hospital, and Alan (Jon Cryer) fears he might be the father.

Now on its sixth season, critics didn't foresee the longevity of the CBS comedy.  For instance, its last episode reeled in 14.2 million viewers.  So far, this season posts a 15 million average in terms of ratings, an improvement from its already admirable 13.6 million numbers last season.

In an interview, Cryer warns that if the series extends much farther, Two and a Half Men might need a new title since Angus T. Jones, who plays Cryer's son, is 16 and growing fast. "He won't be a kid much longer," Cryer says.  "Alas, the title Three Men doesn't have quite same ring to it."

And as far as he's concerned, the three-time Emmy nominee still can't believe at times that Two and a Half Men has reached this level of success.

"For an actor such as myself, who has been on flops, and then you're finally on a hit, there's always part of you that doesn't quite believe it.  You think it must be some kind of statistical error, a bug in the Nielsen computer.   But I was in Fiji recently with my wife on a belated honeymoon and we were absolutely stunned at how popular the show was there. If it's popular in Fiji, maybe the good numbers here in the United States aren't a mistake."
