Ten seconds of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse teaser trailer have been released! This is our first look at (arguably) the most exciting book in the series. Fans have been foaming at the mouth for any bit of news since filming, following David Slade's teasing tweets and finding every picture to be released from set. The first ten seconds released are teasing, no doubt. The love triangle set up in New Moon continues as Bella (Kristen Stewart) finds herself in the middle of two very hot leading men.
For those of you that don't know the story, skip down to the clip below. For those of you that do, you might know why I'm supremely disappointed with the lack of action (of all types *wink*) in the tease. There's an epic battle at the end of
Eclipse and the clip doesn't even hint at it. In my mind,
New Moon is the angst-ridden love triangle. In
Eclipse, Bella, although still confused by her feelings for Jacob (Taylor Lautner), spends most of the book ignoring said feelings and focusing on the impeding doom of her loved ones. It's not until the climactic end that she's face-to-face with the reasoning for the two leading men's bickering.
Nevertheless, impending doom should be the theme of the day. Not only because Victoria (now played by Bryce Dallas Howard) is on the move, but also because Edward (Robert Pattinson) and Jacob fear the decision Bella has made could mean the end of her life. Both men express their concerns in the trailer and it appears Slade and Melissa Rosenberg placed ample importance on the battle for Bella's soul. (
