Tonight marks the penultimate episode of True Blood's sophomore season and, as expected, the crisis in Bon Temps is careening out of control. After Bill's futile efforts to get a hold of Maryann, it looks like it's all up to the higher powers that be in Louisiana.

But before we get a taste of what's in store for tonight, here's what happened so far: Sookie, Bill and Jason finally returns to Bon Temps only to find that their town has been turned upside down, thanks to Maryann. Sookie attempts to get through a possessed Tara, Bill tries to stop Maryann but to no avail while Jason set his sights on helping Sam out of trouble. (Also check out last episode's highlights here)

True Blood is available on Amazon Prime.

The 11th installment of True Blood, fittingly called "Frenzy," finds a desperate Bill enlisting the help of Vampire Queen of Louisiana, Sophie-Anne (Evan Rachel Wood), but her advice doesn't come without a price. Meanwhile, a frantic Sam turns to an unlikely source for assistance, and Jessica puts Hoyt's allegiance to Maxine to the test. In other developments, Sookie and Lafayette have their hands full when they realize that protecting Tara from herself is more difficult than they anticipated.

As mentioned previously, Wood's character is a 1,100-year-old bloodsucker who will grace the third season of True Blood as well. And while there have already been all sorts of rumors about Queen Sophie-Anne possibly hooking up with Hadley Hale (Lindsey Haun), Sookie Stackhouse's (Anna Paquin) cousin, Woods reveals women are not necessarily her cup of tea.

"She's not necessarily a lesbian," Wood told E! "Her human partner is a girl, but I'm pretty sure she goes both ways [laughs]. I think vampires are like that in general. Well, I don't know if I am having sex with anyone yet, but I certainly have a steamy scene with someone that I don't think you'd really expect."
