All that this bloody waiting has done to True Blood fans is to intensify the anticipation for the upcoming sophomore season of the show.  What’s more, the long hiatus taken by the series has given HBO an excuse to release more promotional clips to satisfy audiences.  But it’s difficult to be held down when the teasers do their jobs that well.

Still, we try our best to remain patient until the 14th of June.  Two new clips have been launched for True Blood‘s second installment, one of which gives rise to questions that our curiosity will find difficult to resist.

The first video clip presses on the continuing conflict between vampires and humans living together.  There’s the problem between Sookie (Anna Paquin) and Bill (Stephen Moyer), concerning their trust in one another.  There are doubts between them being a couple, especially because staying with each other has magnified their differences.

This brings to light the possible love triangle involving these two and Eric (Alexander Skarsgard).  Bill will eventually ask him for assistance in rescuing Sookie from an unknown entity, and the vampire of a higher power will help out in return for something else.

Humans are still having a hard time facing day-to-day lives with these bloodsucking creatures of the night, and it’s obvious how hard it is for one to fully accept them.  There’s Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll) trying out her new powers, while Jason (Ryan Kwanten) joins the Fellowship of the Sun.  Meanwhile, Sam (Sam Trammell) faces a threat from the mysterious Maryann (Michelle Forbes), which has also intrigued Tara (Rutina Wesley).

Below, you can watch the new teaser of HBO’s True Blood season 2.

As for the second clip, have your taste of Bill Compton in a solo.  In it, the vampire walks through the dark woods in reflection of his current turmoil.  He thinks about Sookie, and how difficult their relationship has become.

The highly successful vampire drama True Blood returns to HBO on June 14, Sunday at 9pm.
