'Torchwood' Soundtrack For Release on September 22

Silva Screen Records has just announced the release date of Torchwood's Original TV Soundtrack.  On Monday, September 22, fans can finally a grab a copy of the much awaited CD that features music from Torchwood's first and second season.

Songs featured on the Torchwood soundtrack are composed by Ben Foster, who acted as conductor on Torchwood's root series Doctor Who and then went on to co-write the music for the first two series of Russell T Davies' program, and Murray Gold, best known for his powerful score for Doctor Who which is widely regarded as a major element in the revival of the classic cult series.

Although the CD is released on September 22, Torchwood fans can now download the soundtrack as a full album or as individual tracks.

Meanwhile, filming of the third season of Torchwood has already started in Cardiff.  The new season is called Torchwood: Children Of Earth  and finds the team embarking on an adventure as they battle for the future of the human race against the fiercest force they have encountered.
