Sandee is a 39-year old, self taught, executive chef from Saint Simon Islands, Georgia who currently resides in Miami Beach, Florida. Her specialty is southern soul food and her signature dish is Grilled Hamachi Collar with Southern Collard Greens and Soy Sherry Reduction with Jalapeno Corn Bread. Sandee’s culinary background is limited to her stint at popular South Beach restaurant, Tantra, where she worked and studied her way to becoming its executive chef. Since taking over, she has garnered 3-stars and rave reviews.

Sandee is one of fifteen finalists on the reality cooking show, Top Chef.
